New feature: seeing code from others

Posted 11/07/2011 00:57:30
Due to popular demand, now you can see the code submitted by others. However, there are some restrictions.

If you want to keep your code secret, you can do so by going to your profile settings and select the code tab and disabling code sharing. The code is available only to those who participated in the contest. The full list of conditions needed to see someone's code can be found here.

New feature, individual test results

Now when viewing a submission the result is also shown for each unit test when available.

This should help everyone with their debugging/tuning. Good luck !

Tie breaker puzzle added

Posted 10/30/2011 02:07:12
Seeing that so many are tied at the top, we decided to add one last puzzle: Snake charmer.

Hopefully this will break the ties at the top of the leaderboard.

For this puzzle we also added a playable javascript game for it (on the puzzle page, scroll down to demonstration), it can also be used as a simulator to debug your code, you can enter your own grid and run your own moves on it. Or you can simply play it manually. Note that if animate is unselected, you will have to push a key for each move (it won't auto-repeat).
